Mexico Invades Orlando

ADM IN ORLANDO — The directors of the Mexican Dental Association brought a piece of Mexico to the exhibition floor at the American Dental Association meeting in Orlando. Orlando, Florida, USA - The Mexican Dental Association (ADM) filled with color the exhibit hall of the comercial expo at the American Dental Association (ADA) sessions here in Orlando, Florida, with a mariachi band that toured the halls of the Orange County Expo Center.

In addition, at the booth of the Mexican delegation an Aztec royal couple in multicolored costumes attracted the attention of many people in the congress of the main dental association in the US, which was attended by over 10,000 people.

The corridors of the convention center filled with people who followed the mariachi band in its path. The parafe was headed by ADM president, Dr. Jaime Edelson, and former Association President and current president of the upcoming FDI World Annual Congress, Dr. Victor Guerrero.

The ADM "invasion" is part of the strategy for promote the 2011 FDI Annual World Dental Congress, to be held in Mexico City September 14 - 17. The Mexico City congress is expected to be one of the best of the FDI, which representes dentists worldwide. The FDI Congress and the traditional AMIC expo will be held jointly in 2011.

ADM President Dr. Edelson said the scientific program for FDI World Congress 2011 is practically ready and it that have over 60 internationally renowned speakers and simultaneous English-Spanish translation.

"The commercial exhibit will be huge because of the large interest shown by national and foreign companies, "said Edelson. "One very important thing is that both the tradional November AMIC expo and the ADM congress have been suspended, so the FDI Worl Dental Congress will be the main event of the year."
